Drought is a common word in farmers vocabulary these days, especially those farming on the east coast of New Zealand, they know all to well the impact of drought and now the ever-increasing frequency of drought. Our changing climate is presenting us with more severe droughts for often longer periods of time and in areas of the country that haven’t historically seen droughts.
